Xiaomi is one of the best smartphone makers in the world, but that is not all they make. Thanks to its crowdfunding program, the company has launched more than a few innovative accessories, smart home appliances, and personal appliances. The Chinese tech giant has been increasing our expectations regarding lifestyle products for a long time now.
This time Xiaomi is back with three new, innovative and promising home appliances, one of which is in collaboration with Indel B.
MIJIA T500 Sonic Electric Toothbrush
The recently launched MIJIA T500 Sonic Electric Toothbrush is packed with a magnetic levitation sonic motor, which according to Xiaomi makes less noise compared to other electric toothbrushes. This toothbrush is specifically designed for adults and provides 31,000 times vibration frequency per minute.
With a torque of 230 gf.cm, the bristles are always kept at a 10 degrees swing, ensuring the safety of gums while reaching all the blind spots. The toothbrush can be connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth to customize the cleaning mode that suits your needs. In case you don’t want to customize a cleaning mode, the high-precision accelerometer will do it for you.
The toothbrush head is rust free since it uses new technology for holding the bristles and has ditched the metal brush head. MIJIA has also increased the number of bristles by 40% as compared to first-generation MIJIA Sonic toothbrush.
Once fully charged via wireless inductive charging, the device goes on for 18 days without requiring another charge. The battery percentage can be viewed via the smartphone application.
This smart toothbrush is currently available on Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi Tmall Flagship Store and Xiaomi Home at $28.
Car Refrigerator Indel B
Indel B has been in the business of manufacturing refrigerators for vehicles for 40 years now. In its collaboration with Xiaomi, the company has come with a 12L cabin that features a DC inverter compressor. The refrigerator consumes 3.5 Amp of power and operates at 45W when combined with a 12V car battery.
Since the device uses German refrigeration technology, users can expect it to be durable and long-lasting. Thanks to the DC inverter compressor, the fridge does not run all the time, which means the power is only consumed when the compressor kicks in.
It is designed for all kinds of foods and meets the temperature preservation requirements for most food items. The temperature can be set to as low as -18 degrees which is ideal for longer trips.
The fridge opens and closes like a suitcase, hence it is placed horizontally. The control panel next to the refrigeration cabin features a power button, a temperature regulation button, and a small LCD.
The device will be sold at $280, however, the official availability is yet to be announced.
